Was thrilled to spend the weekend in the company of the Noirwich Crime Writing Festival exploring The Sins of the Past.
I led two workshops delving into the pleasure and intricacies of writing dual timeline crime fiction.
We took a look at how it is done from some of the mistresses of this genre including Val McDermid’s A Place of Execution, Barbara Vine’s A Dark Adapted Eye and Kate Atkinson’s Case Histories.
Thanks to all those who took part. It was great fun.
If you fancy catching up on any of Noirwich’s other events including sessions with Megan Abbot, David Peace and some Killer Debuts they are available on catch up here.
