Maggie O’Farrell at the Portobello Bookshop

I am delighted to be chairing the wonderful Maggie O’Farrell at Portobello Bookshop in Edinburgh.

Maggie and I will be talking about her new novel, The Marriage Portrait – a vivid re-imagining of the life and early death of Lucrezia de’ Medici.

Lucrezia was a citizen of 1560s Florence and the young subject of Robert Browning’s poem, My Last Duchess.
