International Literature Showcase – Val McDermid

Utterly thrilled to have been selected as one of the UK’s most compelling LGBTQI+ writers by Val McDermid.

The International Literature Showcase is a partnership between the National Centre for Writing and the British Council. It aims to promote writing from the UK to an international audience.

Val McDermid is one of six guest curators invited to focus on different aspects of writing from across the UK. She selected this list of ten LGBTQI+ writers because they – 

“have something to say that can be – and should be – heard by as many people as possible” Val McDermid

The other fabulous LGBTQI+ writers joining me as part of this International Literature Showcase are Colette Bryce, Juno Dawson, Keith Jarrett, Juliet Jacques, Kirsty Logan, Andrew McMillan, Fiona Mozley and Luke Turner.
