Listen Softly – September

Fancy some spoken word in a welcoming, inclusive environment? Come along to Listen Softly on 19 September for just that.

I’ll be joining poet, Nadine Aisha Jassat and writer and artist, Julie Galante at this regular Edinburgh event to read and perform some of our work. Plus there are open mic slots for anyone who fancies giving it a go.

Listen Softly is all about being warm, encouraging and supportive. Also fun. So if you do fancy it, take a deep breath and step up to the mic.

The event takes place at Golden Hare Books, St Stephen Street, Edinburgh from 6.30-8pm. 

It’s FREE entry, but do reserve a place as it can fill up quickly. And bring along some loose change for the raffle on the night.
