Society of Authors in Scotland

I am very pleased to have been elected to the committee of the Society of Authors in Scotland.

Thank you to fellow members of the SoA who put their trust in me to represent their interests over the next three years.

I am looking forward to working with two other newly appointed members – Helen Sedgwick and Susi Briggs – and alongside the existing members of the committee.

I want to ensure we foster a strong collective voice for our community in Scotland, working together to share experiences, ideas and, where appropriate, enact change.

What we do as writers is valuable. We are valuable. Our work deserves respect, recognition and fair reward.
