On Saturday 24 January I will join Jonathan Gibbs, Head of Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art, for a workshop creating text and illustration.
The course is run by the National Galleries of Scotland and takes place over two days – Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 January from 10.30am-4pm each day.
I will head up the morning session on the Saturday helping participants to develop their own piece of creative writing in response to work held in the national collection. Jonathan will then take over for the rest of the course, demonstrating the art of wood-cuts.
Participants will have the chance to create their own wood-cut, designed to illustrate their own piece of text.
