Looking forward to taking part in The Business, discussing all things creative writing and publishing.
Organised by Edinburgh University, this day-long event gives new writers the chance to meet industry professionals and established names and learn more about the journey to publication.
It features panels on Fiction, Poetry, Work-Life Balance and Money & Industry, alongside guest speakers.
I took part in the fiction panel last year and found it very inspiring. This year I will be discussing and debating the perils, pitfalls and pleasures of money and industry, including how to make (or try to make) a living as a writer.
The conference takes place on Tuesday 14 May at the wonderful Scottish Poetry Library in Edinburgh, from 10am-4pm. Tickets are free via Eventbrite.
