Edinburgh International Book Festival 2019

Tickets are now on sale for the world’s greatest – and my local – literary extravaganza, the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

I am thrilled to be appearing in the Spiegeltent on Monday 19 August at 1.45pm to talk about my new novel, The Inheritance of Solomon Farthing, alongside the godfather of Nordic Noir, Kjell Ola Dahl.

Join us as we discuss the power of long-dead secrets.

I will also be chairing three other fantastic events:-

Tuesday 20 August, 3.30pm, Writers Retreat – Claire Adam, winner of the Desmond Elliot Prize winner 2019, and US novelist, physician and scientist, Vikram Paralkar discuss families facing critical crossroads.

Thursday 23 August, 1.45pm, Spiegeltent – queen of Icelandic Noir, Lilja Sigurdardottir and Haylen Beck (aka bestselling author, Stuart Neville) join forces to chat about missing boys. A £pay what you can event.

Monday 26 August, 6.30pm, Writers Retreat – Elizabeth Mac Donald and Stefan Hertmans dazzle us with spectacular historical novels both set in the middle ages.
