Edinburgh Festival magazine ThreeWeeks features a great interview about the creation of our exhibition Ruffled Russell and the Lost Soul: Artists and Their Materials.
ThreeWeeks is the longest established magazine at the Edinburgh Festival. Over the weekend it posed me and my collaborator, artist Audrey Grant, a series of questions about our exhibition for the Edinburgh International Festival featuring Ruffled Russell the existential Jack Russell.
The interview covers ground including our original inspiration for both dog and story, the influence of Beckett, Darwin and Leonardo da Vinci on the project, and the process and rewards of collaboration.
